OUR RETURN POLICY AND PROCESS

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return your item.

Returns are refunded via store credit in the form of a Recognize The Look gift card. Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to us. To receive your store credit more quickly.

Please note: Please ensure to package each order separately. If multiple orders are returned inside a single return package, your return will require additional time to process. You will not receive credit for any non-eligible items returned.

 

Can I exchange items?

We do not offer exchanges but we welcome you to return your item(s) by mail in accordance with our Return Policy by using our online returns portal and repurchasing any available item(s) on our site.

What items are final sale?

All items ending in $.48 and .98, bodysuits, swimwear, undergarments, beauty products, cosmetics, accessories, and "Party Wear" (such as Halloween costumes) are considered final sale, non-returnable and cannot be returned for store credit.

Should I know anything else about the Online Return Policy?
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached and returned in their original packaging.
  • We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in-transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns.
  • All returns must include an order packing slip or return invoice from Online Return Portal that clearly indicates which items are being returned. If this is not filled out correctly, your return may experience issues in processing.
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
  • We reserve the right to delay a refund until items are actually received based on credible concerns surrounding potential fraud.
What is the Store Returns Policy?

We do not provide cash refunds. We will accept exchanges within 14 days of the original purchase date with a valid receipt and all tags attached. We will accept returns for store credit only within 14 days of the original purchase date with a valid receipt and all tags attached. The following items are considered "Final Sale" and cannot be exchanged in-store or online:

  • Swim & Lingerie
  • Beauty
  • RLook Kids
  • Sale Items
What about returning online orders in store?

We do not provide cash refunds. Upon returning the item, you will receive credit in the form of a gift card that can be used online or in a store. Items purchased as part of a SALE promotion are not eligible for in-store returns.

All items returned must be in original condition (including all paperwork, packaging, and accessories) with tags still attached. All items must be unworn, unaltered, and unwashed. Items considered "Final Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged in store. 

When returning merchandise purchased online at a retail store, the store return policy will apply to your online purchase. We will accept exchanges within 14 days of the original purchase date with a valid receipt and all tags attached. The following items are not eligible for an in-store return:

If you received items ordered online that were received damaged, defective, or incorrect, you will need to contact customer service @ recognizethelook@gmail.com in order to receive a full refund to your original payment method within 48 hours of arrival.

Reserved Rights Regarding Returns

We reserve the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of "wardrobing;"
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, we reserve the right to refuse service (both in-store and online) to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.

Non-RecgonizetheLook items sent to our Distribution Center will be discarded upon receipt.

  

We do not offer refunds or replacements when customers enter the wrong shipping address.

We offer refunds if you meet the following:

(1) Items must be sent in the same condition as you receive using our return label that is provided by our customer service representatives.

(2) Email us at recognize
thelook@gmail.com (Name, Order Number, and any information of why you are requesting a refund).


ALL HEALTH AND WELLNESS PRODUCTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Do not send your purchase back to the address from which it came.  

Returns/Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with the product, let us know and we'll do our best to make it right You can send an email to recognizethelook@gmail.com We cannot accept returns of medical/health related items.

Replacements

If an item is defective or damaged due to manufacturer error or if we ship you the wrong item, we will send a replacement to you.  You may need to return the wrong item with a prepaid shipping label ( representatives via email/chat/sms/phone). You must send pictures of the damaged or incorrect item to start the replacement process.

If an order is lost in transit, we will replace it.  You will be provided a tracking number and this is what we use to determine if an order has been lost in transit or delivered.

If your tracking number states your order was delivered, but you claim you did not receive it, we have to rely on the tracking number. We would require you to provide a claim id from the local post office and validate it, as soon as the review is complete, we will be sending a replacement.

Returned to Sender

If you provide the wrong address, and your order is returned to us by the mail carrier, we will reship it to you.  You will need to pay a shipping and handling fee to cover the costs of reshipping.  If you choose not to have us reship the order, we will refund you, but the refund will not include original shipping costs, priority processing or insurance.  There will be a 30% restocking fee taken out of the refund as well.  

Sometimes these packages are refused by the manufacturer and destroyed by the postal carrier.  Sometimes they end up lost in transit.  In any case in which we do not receive the package back, we can provide a 50% store credit towards a new item. 

If you provided the correct address, we will reship the order to the same address free of charge.  If you want to change the address, you will need to pay the shipping and handling fee. 

Order Cancellation

All of our products are printed on demand, especially for each customer at the time that they order.  Because of this, we can only cancel or modify orders within the first 12 hours after purchase.  Orders for Apparel, Mugs, and Ornaments cannot be canceled or modified at all. 

Clearance Items

Items sold on clearance cannot be returned or refunded.  They may not include original packaging.  We make no guarantees about the condition of these items. 

Warranties

Our standard refund and replacement policy lasts 15 days from the date your tracking number shows your order was delivered. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase was received, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or replacement.  

International Shipping

Customs Duties, Tax and charges are not included in our base price. This is a shopper’s responsibility as each country has different Custom Duties and Laws of Taxation.
